I am writing this letter in support of Keith Mitchell for the office of Merrimack County sheriff.
I have known Keith for approximately 20 years during his service to the Concord Police Department and as a member of the Pembroke community.
There are many good candidates for this position, but Keith stands out to me due to his experience in law enforcement as well as his participation in many community charities and boards. Keith was chosen as Police Officer of the Year, which is a distinguished award.
Keith has experience supervising large groups of employees and is able to articulate specific goals to improve services that towns receive from our county sheriffs. Keith is honest and will work hard.
