The time has come for our country to restore honor, integrity, truth and justice to the highest office in the land.
We can no longer tolerate the corrupt administration of this puppet clown and his underlings, who, beholden to their own enrichment, continue to diminish the U.S. Constitution, the rule of law and the general welfare of the American people.
I have little insight on the political calculation of taking on the president and all his men. But the time for political calculations is over. This is a question about right and wrong. If we do not stand up now, when? If this is not impeachable conduct, what is?
We can be sure the situation will only get worse from here on. In the future, if we further lose our democracy and the rule of law, people will ask what our elected representatives did to prevent this.
Can we really justify not using the most powerful tool of oversight available to the American people? I adjure our elected representatives to proceed with full-throated impeachment proceedings against the president.
There is a deep bench of prosecutorial talent in the Democratic Caucus. Let’s show the American people, in public hearings, the full potency of the rule of law and the irreducible brilliance of the truth. Please do everything in your power to end this presidency before it ends our country.
