As a state representative in Concord, I know both of our Democratic gubernatorial candidates well, and I know the type of leaders they would be in the corner office.

It’s critical, now more than ever, that we have a governor who not only understands what working people are going through and who has a proven track record of working with people to get real results. That is why I am proud to support Dan Feltes for governor.

Dan spent almost a decade as a legal aid attorney, including during the Great Recession, fighting for people who were falling through the cracks and often had no one in their corner. Those same people are falling through the cracks now.

I’ve seen Dan work in the State House. He cares deeply about the issues. He’s a great negotiator, but never compromises on his values. He’s led the way on prescription drug relief, expanding access to health care, and helped pass the most progressive budget in state history.

I respect the work of Andru Volinsky, but we need a governor who can work with everyone to get results and we need a governor who has experience with the state budget. This next year is going to be very tough. We need a governor who has the experience putting together a budget that works for the families of New Hampshire.

Dan’s leadership and experience make it easy to support his campaign. I hope you’ll join me in voting for Dan Feltes for governor on Sept. 8.

Thank you for joining me in supporting Dan Feltes.

Rep. KATHERINE ROGERS
