Students in the John Stark Regional High School We the People: The Citizen & the Constitution-class participated in the district “We the People” competition on Dec. 10 in Concord. Students at the event “testified” in a simulated congressional hearing before a panel of judges comprised of notable governmental and political leaders. The next “We the People” competition will be the state finals in January when the state champion will be determined. The We the People class is taught by Dan Marcus at John Stark and the competition is sponsored by the NH Bar Association.
