John Stark Regional High School math and Project Lead the Way teacher Colin Stone was selected as one of this year’s four STEM MVP teachers by iRobot and was honored in partnership with iRobot and the Boston Red Sox in July at a game at Fenway Park. iRobot MVP teachers are nominated for the honor by their students.
“We are amazed at the creativity Colin shows in working with students, said Lisa Freed, P.E., LEED AP, and iRobot STEM Program Manager. “We hope he will continue to play a major role in showing John Stark students the opportunities of a STEM education. It truly is making a difference in our world and the lives of students,” she continued.
Stone was joined at the Red Sox game by his wife, Amanda, and his parents, Karen and Stan. His children, Greyson, Estelle and Scarlett were also at the game courtesy of iRobot and the Boston Red Sox.
