The Concord Monitor’s reader advisory board, an initiative to bring readers and community-minded individuals together to talk about local news, welcomed its third group of readers into the newsroom in January. Our new board members are Robert Avery, Kathleen Beltrami, Berit Brown, Ann Davis, Graham Gifford, Kathryn Ann Gray, Susan Hewey, Wendy Lapham, Jessica Geiben Lynn, Pete Mosseau, Eric Orff and Nick Perencevich.

For the next year, our board members will regularly meet with Monitor editors, reporters and staff to learn how things work — from advertising and digital to editorial and printing. As our liaisons to the community, they’ll share what’s going on in their neighborhood or community.

This year, our board represents a number of towns in the Capital Region, from Concord to Warner to Wilmot, as well as expertise in medicine, law, education, business and conservation. Some are lifelong New Hampshire residents and others are new to the Granite State.
