Peak foliage will be visible throughout most of New Hampshire this weekend.

Many trees in the northernmost part of the state are past the height of their colors, but the majority of the state is still in its prime, according to the state foliage tracker.

Along the Merrimack River and near most bodies of water in the greater Concord area, trees are already showing brilliant colors. The forecast for the weekend calls for showers on Saturday and a sunny day in the high 50s on Sunday.

Most foliage will remain in peak fall colors throughout Southern New Hampshire through the end of the month, according the foliage tracker.
