Before we get carried away with our criticism of Nancy Pelosi’s reaction to the president’s State of the Union address, I invite everyone to review the nonverbal communications of Paul Ryan and John Boehner during Barack Obama’s State of the Union addresses. The contempt in their expressions was clear to see.
Let’s not be hypocritical toward Speaker Pelosi because we think she’s being “uppity” in her position as leader of the majority party in the House of Representatives.
