A Weare man suffered minor injuries Saturday afternoon when he was ejected from his motorcycle in a crash on Interstate 293 in Hooksett.

Thomas Perrault, 59, was taken to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester for treatment of those injuries, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Perrault was driving a 2009 Harley Davison south on I-293 when he lost control of the motorcycle, which traveled off the paved portion of the road and into the center median, police said. Perrault was thrown into the grassy median and the motorcycle came to rest in the northbound travel lanes.

State police and Hooksett firefighters responded to the crash, which occurred just south of the Hooksett tolls at approximately 12:45 p.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Trooper John Tyo at 666-3333.
