D-II Girls’ SoccerQuarterfinals

No. 1 Bow 1, No. 9 Lebanon 0

Key players: Bow – Nicole Sartorelli (G), Lauren Goyette (A), Emma Wilke (shutout)

Highlights: This one was scoreless until the 72nd minute. That’s when Goyette played a through ball that Sartorelli ran on to, just beating the goalie, and knocked it home. The defending-champion Falcons got great offensive work from Miah Munro and Anna Lafreniere, controlling midfield play from Amanda Marshall, Lindsay Burnham, Madison Roberge and Brianna Boone, who played her best game of the year, and solid defense from Megan Remick, Chloe Binder, Taylor Burnham and Kimmy Gosselin.

Coach’s quote: “The girls played very well, hustled and controlled the play. Lebanon played a very good game and their keeper was outstanding. All the girls hard work was finally rewarded. I love how different players step up in each game for this team. ” – Bow’s Jay Vogt

Records: Bow 15-1-1; Lebanon 8-6-4
