I have lived in New Hampshire nearly 50 years. It is a small, beautiful state filled with interesting people, or it used to be. It is the small part that attracted the Free Staters nearly two decades ago. The wanted to find a place they could go and take over, forcing their beliefs and way of life on everyone, and they have almost succeeded. If you look at who is in charge of our state government and decisions and laws that have been passed in the most unfriendly of ways this year, it should be a wake up call for all of us.

I’m not ready to give up on New Hampshire are you? The latest assault on energy conservation just doesn’t make sense regardless of your political leanings. Are outside influences at play? There are hundreds of blue collar jobs at stake, even if you aren’t convinced that energy use and costs matter. Call your representatives and please remember to vote as if your state depends on it. It does.
