Key players: Concord – Kody Rashed (2-2, win by pin and decision, reached quarterfinals at 195), Hunter Jeffers (1-2, win by pin at 285), Jaycee Haskell (0-2 at 220); Bow – Adler Moura (1-2, win by decision at 120)

Highlights: Three Tide wrestlers ended their careers on Saturday at New Englands, held at Providence Technical and Career Academy in Rhode Island. Rashed advanced the farthest of the local competitors, reaching the quarterfinals with a pair of wins. 

D-II Boys’ Hockey

No. 5 Somersworth/Coe-Brown 2,
No. 4 Dover 1, OT

Key players: Somersworth/Coe-Brown – Dante Ceppetelli (2 goals), Aaron Bono (2 assists)

Highlights: After a scoreless first period, the Bearcats and Green Wave were knotted up 1-1 after the second period and at the end of regulation, but Ceppetelli found the back of the net in overtime. The No. 5 Bearcats will take on No. 1 St. Thomas in Wednesday’s semifinal, which will be at 5:30 p.m. at Everett Arena in Concord.

D-III Boys’ Hockey

No. 3 Belmont-Gilford 3,
No. 6 John Stark-Hopkinton/H-D 1

Key players: Belmont-Gilford – Adam Ribeiro (3 goals)

Highlights: Ribeiro scored twice in the first period, completed his hat trick in the second and the Bulldogs kept the General Hawks off the board until the final minute of the game to punch a ticket to Wednesday’s semifinal. The No. 3 Bulldogs will play No. 2 Hollis-Brookline/Derryfield at 7:30 p.m. at Plymouth State.

No. 7 Kearsarge-Plymouth 2, OT

Key players: Kearsarge-Plymouth – Brock Tanner (goal), Lincoln Manson (goal), Owen Garzia (33 saves), Kristian Nurme (assist), Jack Breault (assist), Nolan Fullerton (assist)

Highlights: Manson scored with 17 seconds left to force overtime, but the Cats couldn’t complete the comeback, allowing the game-winning goal by the Warriors 1:22 into OT.

No. 4 Lebanon-Stevens-Mount Royal 4,
No. 5 Pembroke-Campbell 3, OT

Key players: Pembroke-Campbell – Cameron Plumb (goal), Nathan Smith (goal), Logan Daigle (goal)

Highlights: Pembroke-Campbell scored all three goals in the second period, overcoming a 1-0 first period deficit, but the Raiders scored a pair of goals in the third period to force overtime and ultimately eliminated Pembroke in the quarterfinals.

D-I Girls’ Hockey

No. 2 Bishop Guertin 10,
No. 7 Bishop Brady-Trinity 2

Key players: Brady-Trinity – Maggie Berleth (2 goals), Finley Hollenberg (assist), Kacey Yorston (28 saves)

Highlights: The eight-player Giant Pioneers were shorthanded and overmatched against the No. 2 Cardinals, as Brinity’s season ended in the quarterfinals of the state tournament on Friday night. BG netted four goals in the first period and three each in the second and third. Berleth added one goal in the second and third periods.
