Have you ever wished you knew Eleanor Roosevelt? A recent presentation sponsored by the Webster Historic Society provided an historical journey through her life by the actor-historian Sheryl Faye. Her presentation included photos and soundscapes from Eleanor’s life and times, augmented by frequent costume changes.
Starting during Eleanor’s young life, devoted to her father, and then to her Uncle Teddy Roosevelt, she emerged from a shy girl into one of the most revered and powerful women in the world. It was inspirational, educational and enthralling from start to finish. We would highly recommend Sheryl’s performance to any group, from 7 to 97 years of age and particularly to other historic societies.
