Highlights: The Bears won the first two sets, 25-10, 25-11, narrowly lost the next two, 25-27, 25-27, but won the fifth set, 15-11, to claim the victory over the Spartans.

Coach’s quote: “I’m proud of the grit and resilience of the team tonight. After being up significantly in the third set, Milford picked up their defense, and we took our foot off the gas and stopped playing smart, aggressive Coe-Brown volleyball, dropping that and the next set. We came into the fifth set committed to staying present and where our feet are, and fought until the end.
