Coach’s quote:  “For us this match was bigger than soccer. Since the summer of 2023, the girls wanted to host a Red Card Cancer match to fundraise for the American Cancer Society and our match vs. Pelham was the best date to have this match. Thank you to Pelham for participating. Since the spring of 2023 our program participated in the Special Olympics Torch Run, the Best Buddies Walk and some other community service initiatives. In the month of October our players will have hosted the Red Card Cancer match, walked in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness walk, and participated in a student led walk to raise awareness for the YWCA.  Our girls played wonderfully yesterday and we had 23 players enter the match so it felt very nice to win as a team.  We have some great soccer players, but even more importantly, a program of wonderful young women who will positively impact their communities for years to come.
