Letter: ‘4 Hours at The Capitol’

With our primary coming up, I would highly recommend taking 1.5 hours to watch the film “4 Hours at the Capitol.” It is available on HBO and chronicles the 2021 attack on our Capitol from 1 - 5 p.m. The footage is from a variety of sources, from reporters to a member of the Proud Boys.

It also includes interviews with rioters, members of Congress and staffers who were there that day, Capitol Police and other law enforcement officers. The news that I watched that day as it was happening didn’t do justice to how serious this attack was and this film will dispute anyone that feels it was peaceful protest that day in January.
