Letter: Accommodate pedestrians

Published: 02-04-2024 7:00 AM

This letter is directed to the Town of Bow government. Thursday’s Monitor had a public notice from the Bow Planning Board regarding a proposed brewery/ restaurant to be located 2/10 mile from the Concord line on South Street. It is time for Bow to consider the needs of pedestrians. If you live nearby someone should be able to walk safely to a business in Bow and not have to drive.

Bow as it develops South Street needs to build a sidewalk that meets up with the sidewalk in Concord and extend 3/10 mile to Chen Yang Li. That sidewalk would provide walking access to various businesses including Allied Insurance, Merrimack County Savings Bank, Bow Mills Church, Bow Family Dentistry, the new brewery and Chen Yang Li.
