For those of you who liked the crossword puzzles created by Jacqueline Mathews, I found out that she recently retired which is why we’re stuck with Stella Zawistowski’s crosswords.

I’ve complained to the Monitor in this regard, as others have, but they can’t do anything about it. Other publications, such as the Columbian in the Northwest, have received similar complaints from their readers.
