In a publicity stunt designed to distract from the failure of Congressional House Republicans to pass a bipartisan approved Senate border security bill, lame duck Governor Sununu is requesting $850,000 to send 15 NH National Guardsmen to the Texas border.

With all of the problems our state is facing in education, lack of affordable housing, crumbling infrastructure, family hunger, etc., I want my hard-earned tax dollars addressing concrete local issues, not spent on a political gimmick!
