Letter: Fortunate Canterbury

When we moved to Canterbury some 45 years ago, we met Cheryl Gordon, who has now served the town in various capacities (town clerk, tax collector, selectman, etc.). We were fortunate to have such a dedicated public servant for all those years, and the town owes her a very large thank you for that service. Since Cheryl has decided not to seek re-election as selectman, Canterbury is again indeed fortunate to have someone willing to step into the breach.

She is Beth Blair, who has been in Canterbury for over thirty years and has been involved in every kind of civic group or function imaginable. And she has not just been involved, she has been a leader. I strongly urge you to support her for election to the board of selectmen. Keep our good fortune going.
