Letter: Third party is a choice for independent voters

Regarding the My Turn by Wayne Fuller on third party candidates. It was obvious that Mr. Fuller is biased towards a Biden victory. What his My Turn doesn’t explore is the mindset of people who are independent and not blindly loyal to either party. When the two parties select candidates that are so poor, most people don’t want to vote for either one, a vote for a third party candidate can send a strong message to both parties.

I don’t buy his theory that a vote for a third party is a vote for Trump. What I see is a vote for a third party is evidence that both Biden and Trump are very poor choices for America. I can’t in good conscience vote for either one so I’m sending a big middle finger to both parties and voting for a third party candidate.
