Letter: Prevent tragedy at Friendly’s

A jungle is rapidly growing at the former Friendly’s parking lot on Main Street. The abandoned building hosted squatters, burned down, and a person overdosed in the parking lot. Let’s prevent further tragedy. The former Irving station nearby installed Jersey barriers and is free of misfortune.

Likewise, at the former Friendly’s, let’s trim the overgrowth, clean up the litter, and run a chain across the two entrances. A lot of tragedy in the state capital can be avoided by simply caring for property.
