Letter: Support for Goodlander

I’m enthusiastically supporting Maggie Goodlander for CD NH-02, the congressional seat I held for two terms. Maggie’s roots are solidly NH and she’s campaigning all over the district in good old-fashioned fashion. She’s taught constitutional law at the UNH School of Law and served on important NH not-for profit boards like the Women’s Foundation. She’s worked in D.C. with an enviable record of dedicated public service. She’s right on all the issues and she understands how D.C. works.

Frankly, having a representative in Congress who’s got good national political connections and has experience working in Congress, the DOJ and the White House makes for an unbeatable resume. Beyond her resume, Maggie’s character and personality are right for the job. She’s a warm, people person who knows how to listen. It took me a year to get my feet under me. Maggie is ready to hit the ground running on day one. We’ll be lucky to have her representing us in Congress. I urge my NH CD 2 friends to vote for her.
