Letter: Digital currency will modernize our economy

Our elected officials in Washington need to embrace digital currency as a means to modernize our economy and ensure that the United States keeps pace with the rapidly evolving global landscape. Now is the time to harness the promise of blockchain technology, which has the potential to transform various sectors and drive innovation.

By supporting thoughtful policies that protect and promote blockchain and digital assets, we can create an environment conducive to economic growth, job creation, and technological advancement. Sen. Shaheen’s and Sen. Hassan’s leadership in this area could pave the way for a more inclusive and forward-thinking financial system. I urge each of them to advocate for policies that will position our nation as a leader in this vital space.
