Letter: Ayotte is our best choice to protect the NH Advantage

Under our Republican governor for the past eight years, NH has been the envy of New England and in fact, the nation. We are consistently ranked among the best places to live, work, and raise a family. There is no question that the best person to maintain the NH Advantage and lead NH is Kelly Ayotte. Recently the House Republicans issued a contract with New Hampshire. Kelly Ayotte fully supports every aspect of this contract. What’s included are fixing the housing crisis and lowering taxes, growing our economy, working to lower energy, child care, and healthcare costs. She would help protect our northern border and be tough on crime, like she was when she was Attorney General.

Joyce Craig will do none of those things. Under her watch, Manchester went from the Queen City to one filled with homeless camps, drug overdoses, and crime. School performance declined while crime increased. Now she wants to bring her failed leadership to the corner office. She has not earned a promotion. Her policies would turn us into Massachusetts North. She’s not in touch with NH values. Her extreme views on abortion would overturn our laws and allow late term abortion. Kelly has said she will veto any bill that goes beyond our current law. Without any doubt or hesitation, I have endorsed Kelly Ayotte for governor. She is the real leader that NH needs. Please vote for her on Nov. 5.
