Letter: Pam Walsh for Concord School Board

I am supporting Pamela Walsh for the Concord School Board At Large seat. She is a parent of a child in the Concord School District and a leader in our community. During her term, she has been informative, thoughtful and calm in her decision making process. Pam values and supports diversity of staff and students to promote a sense of belonging for all. During COVID, when times were difficult for everyone, Pam Walsh worked with the school board to get students back into classrooms quickly and safely.

Under her leadership, the district revamped the math and reading curriculum, improved safety and security in the schools and kept tax rate increases well below inflation. In neighboring districts, the taxes increased by double-digits. This is not an easy job but I respect those who step up and give of themselves to make a better community and school. This is what Pam has done and I appreciate her work and wish for her to continue. Please learn about the candidates and get out and vote for Pam Walsh to continue her good work as an at large school board member.
