Letter: Housing in our state

Published: 01-08-2025 9:08 AM

New Hampshire faces a terrible housing shortage. Deporting immigrant construction workers will cripple any attempt to address this crisis and will deprive other economic sectors, such as hospitality, of many workers.

I urge incoming Governor Ayotte and the NH Legislature to consider the economic damage that will be done to our state if they decide to target local immigrants for deportation.
