I wish someone would tell me when America completely lost its mind. Or has it been a gradual process?
We’ve got supposedly intelligent politicians snarling and spitting at each other like alley cats while the so-called president is vacationing in South America; the home-grown bomb nuts are blowing up our allies and we’re still trying to decide whether we should pass a bill to cut off funding to the cavemen and their supporters. And our young soldiers are coming home without their arms, legs, sight or worse – in body bags – because we’re financing the vermin who are supposed to be our enemies.
Then these poor wounded souls have to beg our government for help, just to have a minimum resemblance of a normal life.
Was this neglect there in the fine print of the contract they signed?
Abraham Lincoln said, “Any nation that will not honor its heroes will not long endure.”
Count on it.
