Given the recent opening of the Hatbox Theatre at the Steeplegate Mall, has any thought been given to using some of the space for the needed East Concord Community Center?
It is close to the current location, with ample parking and plenty of available space. Modifications needed to adapt the space to the center’s needs might be cheaper than remodeling the current location.
Plus, it would bring more traffic to the mall to support existing, and maybe new (i.e. a cafe), businesses.
