NHTI’s Spring Comedy Show was designed as a way to bring the college and the community together for a night of entertainment before the school year comes to a close. The artists have changed over the years, but the idea remains the same. Past headliners have included Bob Marley, Bo Burnham, Bill Burr, Ralphie May, Stephen Lynch and Dave Coulier. This year’s performer is Chris Distefano. The show will take place Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
DiStefano has performed at all of the top comedy clubs across New York City, including Gotham Comedy Club, The Comic Strip, and as a headliner at Caroline’s. He has been heard on Sirius XM radio, is a regular on MTV2’s Guy Code, and he participated in Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch showcase as part of the New York Comedy Festival.
Opening for DiStefano is Eric O’Shea, with over 4 million hits on YouTube, and a six-time nominee for Campus Activities Magazine’s National Comedy Performer of the Year. His world-famous “Songs for Commercials” was performed at the Creative Emmy Awards in L.A. on the E! Network.
Tickets for this performance at NHTI can be purchased online at nhti.edu/comedy-show. Tickets are $20 for the community and $10 for NHTI students and alumni. The parking lot opens at 5:30 p.m.; doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show time is 7:30 p.m.
