Intown Concord recognized the following businesses at its annual meeting March 30. The Concord Monitor was named community partner. Simplicity Hair Studio and Spa, Vibes Gourmet Burgers, and Buza Dairy Bar received the best adaptive reuse award for their work renovating 25 S. Main St. into three storefronts. Fifty Home received best interior rehab.
Belknap Subaru donated $17,000 to Veterans Count through its Share the Love program. For each vehicle sold, the company would donate $250 to a charity; Veterans Count was the local partner and other charities include the ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels Foundation and the National Park Foundation..
