It was picture-perfect weather April 23 for the first-ever Mom Prom, a fundraiser hosted by the Franklin Regional Hospital Auxiliary, at Mojalaki’s Country Club in Franklin.

The event was held to raise funds for the FRH Emergency Department Crisis Closet. With dinner, dancing, raffles and genuine fun, it was an unforgettable evening for the 120 ladies that attended with co-workers, friends, and families. Ladies dressed in an array of formal wear from the Renaissance to the 1970s to today. Juliann Marshall of Laconia was dressed as a hippie and crowned Prom Queen.

Without the donations and sponsorship of many local businesses, the Mom Prom would not have been the great success it was in raising more than $2,400! The FRH Auxiliary and Mom Prom event committee would like to thank the following for their assistance in making the event a success: Salon 73, Jennifer Burke, Tracy Mansfield, Joan Eppich, Carolyn Morrill, Ruth Shea, Patty Moodie, Melissa Gross, Sandy Marshall, Pam Hannon, Patty Gray of Mary Kay, Clough Autobody, Kristy Carignan of Avon, Salon 73, Hello Gorgeous, Gabriel’s Salon & Day Spa, FRH Auxiliary Gift Shop, Beans & Greens, Patrick’s Pub & Eatery, Faro Italian Grille, 405 Pub & Grille, Body Design by Joy, Inspire Music, Stephanie Caldon, Tarbin Gardens, Margie Doody, Franklin Opera House, Mojalaki Country Club, Franklin Studio, Cynthia Langevin, Independence Financial Advisors, Steve Haime and LRGHealthcare community relations and philanthropy departments. Thank you to Sweet Treats for the candy favors, Darcy Peary for taking photos, Clough Autobody for the centerpieces, and J-Force Productions for the music.
