The Hopkinton JV baseball team (6-3) beat Pelham, 10-7. The Hawks trailed, 5-4, in the top of the seventh before an RBI single from Zach Signor tied the game and an RBI single from Connor Daniels gave the Hawks their first lead. Dan Tucker (2-for-3, BB, two runs), Sam Crawford (3-for-5, double, run) and Colby Marshall (six innings, earned run, six strikeouts, four walks) all played well for Hopkinton.
The Concord freshman baseball team beat Nashua South, 11-10. Adrien Kennedy, Thomas Duhaime and Sean McDonough all pitched well, and the Tide recorded 15 hits on the day behind the efforts of Ryan Merchant, Tyler Bruns, Andrew Champagne and Kennedy.
The Concord freshman softball team beat Exeter, 8-0. Elise O’Neil pitched a complete game, allowing two hits and striking out seven. O’Neil also helped her own cause with four hits (two doubles, two RBI), while Paige Weatherbee (three hits, two RBI), Mia Harmon (two hits, RBI) and Emma Dusavitch (hit, RBI) rounded out the offense.
The Merrimack Valley Middle School baseball team (4-1) defeated Bow, 2-0. Caleb Heath (six innings, 10 strikeouts) earned the win after Josh Planchet recorded the final three outs for the save. Jacon McKerley delivered the game-winning RBI in the seventh after a walk to Logan Cassin and bunts from Kyle Dube and Bryant Heath loaded the bases.
Flag-Works beat Concord Orthopaedics, 5-4. Matt Hooper pitched two innings and scored twice for Flag-Works, while Connor Anderson drew a walk and scored a run. Owen Cray led Concordwith three hits and Ian Soucy pitched three scoreless innings.
Concord Northeast’s Rowley Agency beat Bow’s Constantly Pizza Reds, 11-1. Nick Aubrey pitched well and Adam Aricanli homered for Constantly Pizza. Cameron Littlefield played strong defensively while Sam Hilts (two hits) and Nathaniel Wachter (home run, double) led the offense for Rowley Agency.
The HR Clough Sharks beat Taylor Rental Mariners, 12-8. HR Clough was led by Coltin Murphy, who had three hits and three RBI. Nate Windhurst added two hits and two runs, Travis Windhurst singled and scored and Joey Simpson pitched three innings. Taylor Rental was led by Nate Greene (two innings, three strikeouts) and Krishna Katrigadda singled and scored.
The Pine Lane Farm Whales beat KBW Twins of Bow. The Whales were led by Jack Morrall, who hit his first career home run, and by two RBI hits from Riley Gagnon, while Vincent Bailey pitched well in his debut. For Bow, Ryan McSweeney and Evan Provost both had big hits.
Quality Cash Market beat Concord Family Vision, 6-4, on Tuesday. Katie Vlacich pitched well for Quality Cash Market, while Caydence Allberg had a double and Maddie Wachterhad a two-run single. For Concord Family Vision, Madison Kelley recorded an unassisted triple play, with Briar Halle hitting well and Alexis Johns walking three times.
Bow Plumbing and Heating beat Concord Family Vision, 6-5, on Monday. For Bow, Sidney Roberge pitched well, Emma Kelly played well defensively and Ella Roos was solid behind the play. Madison Kelley had a double and a run for Concord, while Hannah Laflamme had an RBI.
Merrimack County Savings Bank beat Banks Chevy, 8-7. Kelly Murdough had two hits and three runs for Banks, Maddy Follansbee had a home run with three RBI and Anna O’Reilly notched an RBI single. Lillian Rienstra homered and played good defense behind the plate for MCSB.
The Concord Crush U11 Orange team beat Abenaki, 7-0. Scoring were Church Slathe (two goals), Eliot Asbury, Sawyer Brayshaw, Teigan Mason, Neil Lavallee (assist) and Henry Brochu. Rowan Arndt had the shutout in net.
