Storms Fitness of Hopkinton defeated Vermette Concord National. For Storms, Carlie Tomsick, Ella Martel and Izzy Brown had strong at bats with heads up base running, scoring two runs each. Margot Kennedy of Vermettte pitched a good inning with two strike outs. Wren Amrol and Farley Amrol had nice at bats.
Dick’s Sporting Goods defeated Claudia’s, 15-8. For Dick’s, Sarah Taylor had a solid day pitching and at the plate. Delaney Duford also hit well with two hits and four runs scored. For Claudia’s, Allison Dupuis pitched well. Finnley Pratt hit a home run and Emilia VanPelt scored a run.
The Concord High freshman softball team fell at Pinkerton on Saturday, 7-6. Elise O’Neil pitched seven innings, giving up three earned runs and striking out seven. O’Neil (two hits, home run, RBI), Johanna Van Fleet (three hits, double, RBI) and Alyssa Fallon (run, RBI) led the offense.
In AAA action, Luck’s Barbershop defeated Fratello’s, 13-8. For Lucky’s, Griffin Norwalt had two doubles. Brady Peterson had two hits and Mason Bolduc turned a double play. For Fratello’s, Kai Monticello and Carter Pratt had three hits. David Wicks had two hits.
The Hopkinton H.R. Clough Sharks defeated the Bow Concord Orthopedics. For the Sharks, Brendon Chellis hit a home run while Tanner Kaynak had an RBI single and Thaddeus Maughan caught a great game. Will Platt also played well. For Orthopedics, Mason Hayes and Adam Folsom each had singles
Rath, Young, & Pignatelli defeated Kiwanis, 12-3. Isaiah Robles had a strong pitching performance. Dylan Garvin finished the game in relief. Robles and Dan Spooner sparked the offense. For Kiwanis, Zach McCoy pitched well in relief.
In T-Ball action, the Bow Royals beat the Bow Astros, 20-19. For the Royals, Eli Ordway (5-for-5) and Ben Reardon (4-for-4) had strong performances. The Astros’ George Kohl and Ryan Mitchell did well both at the plate and in the field.
The Bow Angels beat the Bow Orioles, 15-10, in Tball action. For the Angels, Dylan Osterveen (5-for-5) hit a home run and a double. William Knight (5-for-5) also hit a double. Jack Shulman and Connor Holland led the defense for the Orioles.
Rowley Agency Babe Ruth beat Sal’s Pizza, 12-10. Kyle Hill and Evan Makris combined on the hill for the winning pitching duties. Adrian Kennedy scored three runs, while Myles Muir and Shea Morgan scored twice. For Sal’s Pizza, Chase Langevin and Logan Otto went 3-for-3. Rowley also beat Banks Chevrolet, 12-4. Hill was the winning pitcher. Alex Reynolds had three hits, while Ryan Merchant had multiple RBI. Atti Parker and Jake Nelson started a late game rally for Banks Chevrolet.
The Concord Crush Orange U11 girls’ team defeated the Derry Astros, 13-8. Avery Case anchored the defense. Lydia Tremblay was strong on both offense and defense, intercepting multiple passes. Ali Cabot (four goals) played well at midfield and attack.
Lee Blossom and Jeff Towle took first place with a score of 63 at the Country Country Club two-ball best ball event. Dick Lank and Joe Morrison tied for second place with Quinn Hogan and Peter Annon, shooting 65. Third place went to John Sullivan and George Chase with a score of 68. In the ladies’ event, the women played a match against par where Lois Davis came in first with a score of all square. Marge Bell came in second place with a score of two down.
Fred Hast and his guest Mark Roberts tied for first place with Kevin Hobbs, and his guest Jim Wojcik in the guest-member tournament at Concord Country Club. Both pairs shot 9-under par 61.

Session I will be held June 29-July 2, followed by Session II from July 6-9 and the youth clinic will be held July 7-8. Signups for Pembroke Summer Recreation will be held Saturday, May 28 and June 5 from 10-11 a.m. at the Pembroke Town Hall.
