The Concord JV baseball team hung on for a 3-2 win against Manchester Central. Stephen Drewes earned the win, pitching a scoreless four innings. Driving in runs for the Tide were Ryan Tessier, Eric Sullivan and Jacob Knowles.
The Hopkinton Hawks (8-5) JV baseball team fell to the Mascoma Royals, 18-10. Lane Crowley went 2-for-5 with two runs, and three stolen bases, while Zach Signor went 2-for-4 with a run and three stolen bases. Kevin Newton-Delgado (two runs) roped a two-run double to right center and Sam Crawford (two runs) hit an RBI single to left. Both Signor and Dan Tucker recorded their first strikeouts on the mound this season.
The Hopkinton JV softball team finished its season with a 13-3 win over Winnisquam. Players of the game were Izzy Gagnon, Maddy McCluskey, Katie Meserve, Megan Blanchette, Clara Walling, Madeleine Bishop, Shea Lambert, Lauren Secore, Porter Tomsick, Jen Lewis, Emmaleigh Sabol, and Georgia Westbrook
The Concord High freshman softball team finish their regular season with a 17-0 win over Manchester West. Elise O’Neil pitched a complete game, one-hitter with four strikeouts. Paige Weatherbee (three hits, double, two RBI), Emma Dusavitch (three hits, two RBI), Kara Laramee (two hits, double, two RBI), Brooke Wheeler (hit, two RBI) and Caitlin Rule (hit, RBI) led the offense.
The Hopkinton Middle School Hawks baseball team lost two games at the new Park Ave Field. Against Winnisquam, the Hawks went down 7-2 with Denver Sykes and Thomas Hoffman having hits and scoring the team’s two runs and Ryan Graham made some big plays in the outfield. The next game against Belmont went eight innings with the Bulldogs pulling it out, 10-3. Sam Rawson pitched great for the Hawks and Thomas Hoffman scored two runs. Jack Horne made some big catches in the outfield.
Claudia’s Hair Salon defeated Siege Technologies, 11-10. For Siege Technologies, Lindsey Jones pitched well, picking up three strikeouts. Rebecca Insley contributed to the offense by stealing home twice and Jaylin Ladd played a good defensive game behind the plate. For Claudia’s, Alison Dupuis pitched well (10 strikeouts), Avery Frazier played good defense behind the plate and Finnley Pratt had a home run with two RBI.
Bow Plumbing and Heating defeated Concord’s Quality Cash, 9-8, in a Concord Northeast Softball game. For Quality Cash, Rachel Hilts scored three runs, Corrine Kalloch had two RBI and Lily Hackett hit well. For Bow Plumbing and Heating, Paris Sadler had a big hit, Isabel Kunz had a hit and an RBI and Annabelle Cattabriga picked up a hit as well. Ella Roos made some great plays at first base.
In recent 12U softball play, the Banks Hopkinton Hawks defeated the Rowley Bow team. The Hawks were led by Abby Simpson, Julia Baer and Mia Richter. Bow was led with two big hits from Ashlyn Wright.
The Banks Hopkinton Hawks 12U softball team defeated the Cimo’s of Concord National, 5-2 at Martin Field. The Hawks were led by the pitching of Kally Murdough, a great play in the outfield by Lucy Bamford and the hitting of Anna O’Reilly. Cimo’s was led by Emma Burbank at bat and the battery of Jaelynn Kellerher and Lexi Adams.
In AAA baseball action, Lucky’s Barbershop of Concord Northeast defeated Concord Orthopaedics of Bow. For Lucky’s, Levi Madison had four hits including a home run. Connor Afflick and Nate Currier added hits. For Concord Orthopaedics, Jack Kohl had a double, Alex Kehas pitched a strong inning and both Trevor Abel and Brady Lover went 2-for-2 with two runs scored.
In Concord Little League action, Swenson Granite beat Kiwanis, 8-1. Austin Hazzard picked up the win with 11 strikeouts. Hazzard helped his cause with a first inning home run. Ryan Phibrick played well for Kiwanis.
Concord Flag Works defeated the Taylor Rental Mariners, 11-5 in a Bow Youth Minors baseball game. Flag Work was led by Josh Turant who was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI, Joey Mangone (3-for-3, 3 runs, two strong innings on the mound) and Issac Vallancort who singled and turned a double play. Taylor Rental was led by Austin Beaulieu who had a single and an RBI, Austin Bouch who reached base twice with a run scored and Sean Guerrette who was 2-for-2, scoring a run and he threw three innings, striking out six.

UNH field hockey team will hold two summer camps as well as two summer youth clinics. Session I will be held June 29-July 2, followed by Session II from July 6-9 and the youth clinic will be held July 7-8.
