The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning but still fell, 6-5, in the conclusion of a three-game series with the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Thursday.
Jason Leblebijian drove in four runs on three hits – one being a home run – for New Hampshire (26-33). Shane Optiz also drove in a run, while Ian Parmley chipped in three hits.
Carlos Moncrief hit two home runs for Richmond (23-37), both off Fisher Cats’ starter Casey Lawrence, who took the loss.
