The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored a run in the first and another in the fifth and that turned out to be all they’d need in a 2-0 win over the Bowie Baysox at home on Saturday night.

The win snapped a five-game losing streak for the Fisher Cats (27-34). Jason Leblebijian scored a run and had one hit, while Jorge Flores chipped in a solo home run in the fifth inning. Dwight Smith Jr. also hit a pair of doubles.

Jeremy Gabryszwski picked up his fourth win on the mound, giving up just four hits over six innings with six strikeouts and a walk. Wil Browning got the save for the Fisher Cats, who host Bowie (27-35) again today at 1:35 p.m.
