You’d think with all of the fundraisers Gov. Hassan is having in New York City and Washington D.C., she would have enough campaign money to pay for her security detail. But nope – taxpayers are stuck with her bill.
I am not surprised by the fact that Hassan has been traveling around the country to raise campaign money, but I never thought she was spending our tax dollars to fund her campaign travel expenses. This crosses the line. Gov. Hassan not only needs to do her job, she needs to pay her bills.
