ANDOVER, Mass. – Former Boston Bruins star Ray Bourque was arrested on a drunken driving charge on Friday.

Andover police Lt. Cecilia Blais told the Boston Globe that the 55-year-old Bourque was arrested after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Andover, Mass., about 11:30 p.m. Friday. No injuries were reported.

Bourque was charged with operating under the influence, posted bail and was released.

Police provided no further details and did not say when he was expected to appear in court.

Bourque was drafted by the Bruins with the eighth pick in 1979 and played 21 seasons in Boston. He finished his career in Colorado, winning his first Stanley Cup in 2001.
