When Kelly Ayotte voted all those times against legislation that would keep assault weapons out of the hands of terrorists, domestic abusers, and other crazies, I wonder if she was aware of how many Americans were dying in mass shootings every year?
Did she know about Al-Qaida spokesman Adam Gadahn’s video message for jihadi wannabees (“America is awash in easily available firearms.. . . .So what are you waiting for?”, Monitor, June 24)? I doubt it, although that is hardly to her credit. On too many issues, she seems ignorant of the facts.
Recently, when CNN interviewer Chris Cuomo asked her what she thought of Donald Trump’s foreign policy speech, she laughed. She said she had not seen it because she was “busy.” She supports this man for president and does not know what is in his speeches? That’s not very funny.
