On June 22, the Henniker PTA presented the school board with a check for $60,000 for the playground rebuild project.

“We would like to sincerely thank the Henniker PTA for all of the work they have done on fundraising for our playground rebuild. Thank you to all of the donors and to Davis and Towle for their generous matching funds of $20,000,” said Principal Karen Raymond.

The new playground was custom designed by GameTime to fit the needs of the entire school and Henniker Community. In an effort to keep costs low, the playground will be constructed by volunteers Aug. 5 to 7. If you would like to volunteer, email HennikerBuildsPlayground@sau24.org.
