A Concord man was arrested Sunday after a breathalyzer test indicated he was driving with a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit, state police say.
Jason Bellyea, 43, of Concord was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Witnesses say Bellyea crashed into the right guardrail while traveling north on Interstate 93.
One person followed Bellyea off Exit 14 and onto Loudon Road. The witness called police and directed them to a parking lot at 120 Loudon Road. Police reached the location and found Bellyea.
Police concluded Bellyea was intoxicated after a field sobriety test, and he was transported to the Concord barracks where he submitted to a breath test.
Bellyea will appear in Concord’s district court July 22.
