The Boston Red Sox will have seven representatives on the American League All-Star team, with four players being named to the starting lineup for next week’s game.

Designated hitter David Ortiz, who is retiring at the end of the season, became a 10-time All-Star and is joined by first-time All-Stars Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley Jr. and Mookie Betts on the starting lineup.

Dustin Pedroia was also selected to the team, as were knuckleballer Steven Wright and closer Craig Kimbrel for the pitching staff.

The All-Star Game will be played July 12 at San Diego’s Petco Park.
