Over the next few months we are bound to be bombarded with pandering advertising, mudslinging and endless feedback loops of argument from politicians up and down the ticket.
State Senate candidate Joe Casey, for all intents and purposes, is not one of those politicians.
To most who know him, Joe Casey is part of the fabric of his community as a caring father and coach. His decision to run for the open seat in state Senate District 6 is, however, of no surprise to us: Joe Casey has been in public service most of his life.
Joe spent 18 years of his life as an electrician, after which he spent the next 13 intimately involved in the legislative process to keep the members of IBEW Local 490 and the New Hampshire building trades in good-paying jobs.
For Joe Casey, serving in the state Senate is not about politics, itโs about finding solutions to the problems working families and small businesses face every day. Joe will be a common-sense legislator, unfettered by polarizing political agendas.
Joe Casey is not in this race for himself or moneyed special interests โ he is in it for you.
