State police say a Massachusetts man is facing reckless driving and drug charges after he was clocked driving at 119 mph on Interstate 93 in Bow on Wednesday.
Police say Kyle Terrien, 22, of Dighton, Mass., was “weaving in and out of traffic during the morning commute” about 7:15 a.m. in an area with a posted speed limit of 65 mph. Terrien was driving a 2012 Nissan Maxima and was stopped by police and arrested at the New Hampshire Welcome Center off the interstate in Hooksett.
Terrien’s speed was read using a “hand-held light distance and ranging device commonly referred to as LIDAR,” according to a press release.
Terrien was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 23 at Concord’s district court.
