About 20 people gathered near the Merrimack River off Loudon Road in Concord on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, to hold a vigil for the victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings of 1945. Most of the group attended a presentation titled “The New Nuclear Arms Race,” and a demonstration at the State House before walking to the vigil site.
