Bob Granger and Ron Landry won the best ball event at the Concord Country Club. They combined for an 8-under-par round of 62 to lead the field. The pairs of Mike Gallant and Dave Perry, Lee Blossom and DJ Knapton and Steve White and Ken Smith tied for second with rounds of 63.
In the womenโs competition, Jan Monahan won the fewest putts contest with 31 putts. Lois Davis took second place with 33 and Sue Edy finished in third place with 34.
