What was it like to be on the homefront in Gilmanton during World War II? On Tuesday, Pat Clarke, Gilmanton Historical Society’s vice president, will describe what life was like for the home folk in Gilmanton during the war years. The free program will take place at Old Town Hall in Gilmanton Iron Works at 7:30. A social hour and refreshments will begin at 7 p.m. and the society’s museum in the basement of Old town hall will be open at 7 p.m.
