Shane Dawson allowed just five hits over seven innings, leading the New Hampshire Fisher Cats over the Portland Sea Dogs to a 5-2 win on Saturday in Manchester.
Dawson (10-4) picked up the win after he struck out three while allowing two runs.
Up 2-0 in the fourth, New Hampshire added to its lead when Roemon Fields hit a two-run single.
John Anderson pitched two scoreless innings for his first save of the season for the Fisher Cats, who won their fourth straight game.
