Concord sophomore Sean McDonough shot a career-low 35 and the Tide beat Nashua South and Timberlane at Green Meadows Golf Club in Hudson on Wednesday.

“This is great for us,” said Concord Coach Ed Deshaies. “It’s the first time in three years we’re going to the states.”

The Tide picked the right day to set its season-low score as a team. Concord (203) came out of the three-way match with a narrow victory with only one stroke on Nashua North (204) and three on Timberlane (206).

Freshman Matthew Burns helped the Tide with 41 strokes on the day. Thomas Burns and Evan Markis each shot 42, while Quentin Barry and Hayley Reed shot 43.

Concord finished the season 12-8, flipping its record from last year where the Tide missed the Division I tournament.
